So here you are!
You have made that final choice. You have found your little slice of
the internet market where you feel you can make a difference.
Reflecting back, you can say, "I've
come a long way, baby!" And yes, you have!
Hearty congratulations to you.
However, now is not the time to rest on reflections. Another plateau
is to be climbed. The next one is steeper than the last. It's about
getting out there and getting known.
With all the offers available to you and your new business,
discerning where to take your talents and offers will either make or
break you.
Entering the world of competition is not a piece of cake. The enemy
is watching every move you make and anticipating your level of
threat.
Get your warrior gear on because it's going to test you for all you
are Worth. The fact is that those tests forthcoming will increase
your fortitude. No one knows for sure who you are or what you stand
for. No one except the people you have trusted along the path you have just
followed.
These folks were watching you as well. They monitored your progress
as they saw you fall and stumble. They gave you support in doses
that would allow to to grow weaning you off the "spoon
feeding". They put their business on hold to help you along.
When they trusted you enough, they may have even invited you to join
in their new adventures. Those few months of being left alone with a
struggle were the best times, because you grew.
But, you were being watched. Those associates were rating your
advancement, when
you were not aware, you were the topic of conversation. Eventually,
you realize the findings.
You see, those folks who are willing to teach and show you the right
way want to be certain they are not wasting their time. They also
want to be assured that you will not wander from a very hard path to climb for
something easy that won't last. Time and time again, good
intentioned people leave for something easier and eventually fall.
They have invested in you and you in them. Not only have you made a
business associate, but you have made a friend. The two together
form a strong bond through thick and thin.
Let's face it, business is cold and hard. It will eat you alive if
you let it. It's those folks who stay in contact with you and help
you through the joys and tears who make having a business
worthwhile. As you look back after each step you complete in your
growth, remember to say," Thank you" to those who have lead you
wisely with a firm and caring hand.
Following the lead of trusted leaders is worth more than gold. They
have gone before you and know more about what you are coming up
against.
This is the value of real teamwork. Working together and sharing our
findings. Growing as a unit and not leaving anyone behind.
I thank my Lord for those He has put in my path. I had asked for the
strength and ability to do this honestly and not hurt anyone.
Sometimes, the temptation to wander was almost overwhelming. Yet,
the choice to determinedly hold firm to where I was at has reaped
tremendous rewards.
To Fran ( Warriorlady) and George (Gofer), my heartfelt thanks. Also
to Pat, Wayne and Mike Jeter. Barry, you have been an inspiration to
me as I try to follow your lead as well.
This invitation is extended to you to come and begin your business

Important Notice of Server Migration
We are growing! That means there will be server
issues here and there as it is necessary to upgrade to servers that
keep you in front of your prospects.
Be patient. Do let your subscribers know these
are temporary issues and do not panic. If you are reading our
ezine then you will always be on top of issues like this.
By the time you read this, they should be fixed.
Server migration has created a few cache errors for members. If you
are not seeing current scheduler or access to a/r, programs etc is
proving a pain, then do please clean cache, temp files, reboot and
all should be well again.

Since its inception, the Internet has grown like a wild
child, forever moving information at the speed of light, to greedy,
hungry minds.
If it is information you need, then all is well and good though for
many, doors and windows the size of mother earth, have been opened on so
much you could only dream about previously, to uninhabited territories
you never dreamed even existed.
Like that greedy, hungry child, you absorb so much that is not needed in
your quest to grow.
Educating the masses
The power of the Internet does not stop there. It can be a destroyer of
dreams just as quickly as it can be a builder of dreams.
The laws of business will not change because you choose to ignore them.
Off line or on line, marketing is a hungry child that must be fed the
right foods in order that it grow strong and healthy.
Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and others are connecting millions of people
at an astounding rate. So what are users learning? How are the masses
being educated that allow the value of these tools to spread into your
marketing growth strategies?
Fools rush In?
Social media did not really start with all these famed new programs, it
has been around in smaller doses for years but someone understood the
need for people to connect and the future was born for many.
They have become the greatest qualifier of the needs of the human mind.
This is where a sharp marketer pays attention to those needs and feeds
them with guided direction to solid, successful business creation.
Fortunes have been made understanding what motivates a prospect to
becoming an integral part of your business strategies.
Would it be wiser to join these social media communities and take the
chance that you do something wrong, like becoming totally distracted
yourself, or would be it wiser to study this phenomenon for how it can
empower your actions and business growth?

When you surf the net, ( building credits for your traffic
needs I hope) what catches your eye and keeps you on that site for more
than 4 seconds? Is it an image? The header logo? The top headline
message?
Personally, I like to check out the sites of the many wonderful people I
have met on the Internet. Intentionally, or otherwise, we become a
community of like-minded individuals who go a step further, learning
each other's names and business focus.
Since we are all creating an online business of one sort or the other,
it is a great boost to see how they are growing. Keeping up to date with
their progress is also a super guideline for my own focus and direction.
The 4 Second Rule and Trusting You
Some call it communications, others call it relationship building.
Whatever you choose to call it, if you are not communicating your
message and your site content to meet the requirements of your visitor,
you lose.
If 4 seconds is all you have to attract the interest of your visitor
then it would seem that every possible step you can take better be your
intent. Your logo should be very appealing to the eye, professional in
presentation and any text associated it with should promote the desire
to know more about you.
The Professional Look Speaks Volumes
Imagery plays a larger part in keeping a viewer on your site than I
think is being promoted and understood. Color combinations can turn your
visitor off faster than blaring music. Though blaring audio and nerve
wracking music can beg for the delete button just as fast.
Test the audio. That wav might have sounded nice to your ears
BEFORE you added it to your site,
but what about the power of the computer of the victim who has to stand
the raucous noise it emits to their ears?
"Welcome to my site" - thank you, but can I not presume my
welcome, as you do want me to see your work do you not? Just 4 seconds
and add the first 10 words I am going to see to keep me there. I think
you can find four better choices than 'welcome to my site.'
When we first start off on the Internet, there is so much to learn. We
can be a bit off the mark either not knowing these things or thinking we
can get by if we sort of shirk on their value for the moment.
Approximately 96% of the people who see your site will be first time
visitors. The time and consideration you give to their first visit will
decide if they even want to look around, let alone
take a chance on trusting you.
The Internet can be a frustrating and overwhelming experience for many
viewers. Foremost in their minds, is the need to judge you as real and
not some hypster luring them into the latest scam.
At the best of times, a very small number will explore your site beyond
the first two pages, so make every effort to build that trust and the
interest in knowing you and your product or service will follow.
Make getting to know you a pleasure and you might even bust that two
page site viewing record.

Lesson One...
An eagle was sitting on a tree - resting... doing nothing. A small
rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, "Can I also sit like you and do
nothing"? The eagle answered, "Sure, why not?" So, the rabbit sat on the
ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared,
jumped on the rabbit and ate it.
Management Lesson... To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be
sitting very, very high up.
Lesson Two...
A turkey was chatting with a bull. "I would love to be able to get to
the top of that tree but, I haven't got the energy", sighed the turkey.
"Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?", replied the
bull... "they're packed with nutrients". The turkey pecked at a lump of
dung and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest
branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he
reached the second branch. Finally, on the fifth day, he found himself
proudly perched at the top. There, he was promptly spotted by a farmer
who shot him out of the tree.
Management Lesson... Bull s *** might get you to the top but, it won't
keep you there.
Lesson Three...
A little bird was flying South for the winter. It was so cold, the
bird's wings froze and he fell to the ground in a large field.
While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As
the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, it began to realize
how warm it was. The dung was actually thawing him out! The bird lay
there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy A passing cat
heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the
cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung and promptly dug him
out and ate him.
Management Lessons...
1.) Not everyone who s *** s on you is an enemy.
2.) Not everyone who gets you out of s *** is your friend.
3.) And, when you're in deep s *** it's best to keep your mouth shut!
