Apparently, the FTC is working on
regulations which require marketers to show more typical results
from the products or services they are
developing/selling/promoting.
It stands to reason that if only 10% produce the required
results then 90% have some place in the failure rates. Truth be
known, less than 2% follow through with anything they have
learned, bought, or promote let alone actually utilize it.
So the point seems to be that the FTC expects Marketers to post
equally, comments from the unsatisfied as well as the happy side
of any product or service.
That should help fix the ' Mr and Mrs Full O Self'
Marketer that cannot stand criticism or admitting to negative
results to have to give naysayers equal opportunity in print re
advertising and testimonial country supporting what they are
offering.
IF the FTC have their way, then maybe transparency will become a
way to proof the honesty and integrity of some of the offers
that fill our mail boxes.

In today's economy with the abundance enjoyed by all, why do folks
still insist on planting seeds?
Gardening time is fast approaching as the weather warms the soil and
early birds get the itch. What itch? The itch to get down and dirty
with the soil. There's something in that soil that is just so
fulfilling.
Having it in your bare hands and squishing it to test the texture
and crumble the lumps. The aroma of renewed earth after a season of
rest penetrates the nostrils and hopes are reborn
as to the fruit that will blossom forth with tall lush plants that
are supported by nutrients hidden within this matter called, dirt.
Tenderly and lovingly the removal of the foreign matter that
shouldn't be there, like sticks and stones and dead debris.
A sense of satisfaction prevails as the dirt sifts through one's
fingers and returns to where it rested before. All fresh and
ready for another season.
The bed is ready and is inviting that little speck called a seed.
Listen closely and you can here it calling. "Come, and I will feed
you and cause you to grow big and strong. I will support your
delicate roots and keep you protected."
Dreams and hopes have sprung alive. Our minds envision the finished
produce and promise of harvest as the little speckling is placed
just under the soil surface and covered over.
A few days later, a miracle happens as new life breaks through to
test its environment. The cry for rain and sunshine are answered and
happily the little plant begins its journey to fruition.
For anyone who has ever seen this miracle, the answer of,
"Why" has been realized. It started with a dream filled with
hope and then the addition of the necessary ingredients along with
the correct method. That moment of wonder
and satisfaction envelopes that new thing with guardianship.
So it is with any venture. Yet, only those who actually experience
the miracle of a birth can truly gain an appreciation and respect
for the gift bestowed upon them.
How the journey will be is dependent on the desire to succeed and
the help along the way. We can save ourselves many heartaches and
tears if we follow those who have gone before and have gleaned the
necessary knowledge to keep that new thing alive and flourishing.
There will be times of trial and troubles along the way. The
dying off and pruning are yet to come. Still, remaining are
the first memories of what hope, desire and preparation had
brought forth.
It began with something very simple, soil and seed. Then came
sunshine and water. But even more important came the love and caring
to see this through.
As long as there is a hope and a dream, there will be a way.
Planting a seed in fertile soil is the beginning. The longevity
is dependent upon the nurturing along the way.
To those who consider this tripe, a sadness is felt because caring
and tenderness have grown dim. Desire has waned and hope put away in
a chest to be looked upon another day.
Today, the soil was sifted and a seed planted. A plan for growth has
been prepared with fertilizer and wiser safety nets.

CSRF Hacker Exploit Hits Gmail Users

Google has known CSRF has been around since July
2007, but many Gmail users may be just finding
out about it. No, Google has no intention to repair this hack.
One of the major security issues of being on line, is dealing with free
email accounts. While hotmail and yahoo have always been around, and
excite used to demand you clicked on an advertiser every few minutes to
maintain use, along comes Google with the highly touted
Gmail.
NONE of them work with any reliability. For one reason or the other, an
affiliate or professed business builder can end up having their accounts
threatened for bounce backs and more.
From the brand new user, excited to be sending mails to everyone they
know signals they are on line, to the not so
new marketer who thinks it is smart using these throw away mail accounts
to check out company offers; there is a
growing demand by many companies to sign up with reliable mail clients.
Can you blame them? They pay big dollars every month for secure servers
to end up with thousands of useless accounts where the user is seldom
actively using their mail. Those inactive accounts cost money to carry
and someone has to absorb that cost.
CSRF (pronounced sea-surf) is the latest threat to become public
knowledge. And wouldn't you know it, Gmail
users are the victims. CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) is an exploit
that allows hackers to break into Gmail
accounts. Worse, this threat has existed since first reported way back
in 2007 yet Google to this day is not about to fix that hack exploit.
CSRF holes
also affected Youtube, Netflix and the NYTimes.com but those particular
exploits have been repaired. CSRF use security flaws in cookies,
password requests and other interactive Web components to intercept
communications between your browser and a Website's server.
Be sure to read up on this security issue, then make sure you take two
simple steps to help keep CSRF in check.
Try to remember, no one is going to part with their
hard-earned cash to someone so unprofessional as to use a throw-away
email account as a business connection.

Why Using Persuasive Landing Pages Creates Conversions |
When a prospective searcher types in a keyword, you may be lucky
enough to have an entry that encourages a click through to a
persuasive Landing Page on your site, NOT to your HOME page.
When first venturing into web site development, you may only have
either a HOME page or a Lead Capture Page that your prospect goes
to, using normal advertising methods.
BUT when your site is found via keyword search patterns, you need
your search engine traffic to find and land on a persuasive Landing
Page.
Searchers are looking for information. They may only be at the
looking stage, needing to know about a specific product or service
that will aid in their decision making.
Perhaps they are in the comparison stage. They want to know the best
deal they can receive and the ROI they can expect for their
investment in time and dollars.
Either way, in order to get them to click the "buy now" button, your
Landing Page will certainly need to be persuasive.
Even if your Landing Page does not sell anything, you need to be in
a position to encourage visitors to sign up for a free newsletter,
or to receive a 'gift' for their interest. Getting them on your list
is paramount to future business offerings.
THE most important part of your marketing strategy is to send
targeted traffic with as few steps as possible, to that part of your
site where they can buy. Persuasive Landing Pages are considered to
be among the most vital stages to increase sales potential.
The important steps include ...
Do NOT send them to your HOME page. While this page tells them what
your site is all about, it is NOT designed with any sense of urgency
to act now and make that purchase. The job of the HOME page is to
simply provide easy navigation throughout your whole website.
FIRST Impressions Count - Make that headline clear
What is your Landing Page about? Make that message in the headline
clear and simple, keyword inclusive and right up front. NO BS! Turn
your prospect off and they will hit the delete key.
Layout is very important as is white space. Cut the clutter. Forget
flashing lights and images that detract from your message. Your copy
sells so give it breathing room, laid out for easy skim reading for
prospects that like the quick read but easy enough for those that
