on their page brings up a flash.exe box that starts a
Trojan-loaded download no matter how hard you try to stop it.
Shutting down your browser is step one, reporting it is step two
and running your security cleaners is step three and do it
immediately.

Server Not Found Loses You Conversions |
Surfing Traffic Exchanges is supposed to bring
you in new conversions. How can your promotions do that for you
if all the viewer sees is 'Server Cannot find" messages?
Occasionally, up will come a server 505 error which can simply
mean your hosting company is doing a security scan, or is
updating services. Normally that will clear itself though you
should not take these notices lightly. Read the mails that come
to you from your hosting companies. In fact, read all your
program mails. Failure to do so puts you in a very bad position
in respect to how you appear to prospects.
Quite often, I will take the browser advice and try again. I
should not have to do this but hey, I want to know what is the
problem? Then when I face it, I know the solution I need to take
to rectify it.
Standard problems can be ..
# Check the address for typing errors such as w.example.com
instead of www.example.com won't happen in a Traffic Exchange
because your page won't pass validation. It will happen if you
are typing in a URL for other reasons.
# If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's
network connection. This one is a prize. With all the poor ISP
companies out there frustrating you, it may be time to look
again for better service.
# If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or
proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
Think security here, and make sure the 'ALLOW" field applies to
not only your browser, but the domain name of mail senders you
wish to receive mail from. If you don't, your ISP might just
take that privilege away from you. Who know what their security
considers spam or junk mail?
There is one more prize reason. Have you got one heck of a
limited hosting package? Have you exceeded bandwidth? Are you
using a free hosting set up? Any of these issues put you behind
the eighth ball. You lose for a lack of professionalism to begin
with and darned poor service to complete the frustration.
The TWO most important things you need on line are a good ISP
providing the kind of service that matches your needs, AND a
SECURE hosting company with a darned good track record
of up time and excellent service. Lack of either of these
important services can mean the
difference between effective campaigning and business growth, or
ending up frustrated and bitter over your online experience.

doing? Can you stand up and say to any one of them,
"This is what I do and I will tell you why?"
There is another saying to add to the wisdom to
know the difference and that is the oldie but
goldie cliché, "There are none so
blind as he who will not see."
Yes Virginia! There is a right and wrong way to market
on the internet. And it necessarily isn't in the direction
most are walking. Look at what is
out there right now. Does anything make you
feel confident and draw your attention?
Do you receive the assurance of anything long
lasting? The answer could be right in
front of your face. The question is, "Would
you recognize it?"
A little bit of knowledge can be a dangerous thing
used in the wrong manner. So as most of us have
tasted that side of the offerings, isn't it time for
some wisdom?

RETARDED GRANDPARENTS - (this was actually
reported by a teacher)
After Christmas, a teacher asked her young pupils how they spent
their holiday away from school. One child wrote the following:
We always used to spend the holidays with Grandma and Grandpa.
They used to live in a big brick house but Grandpa got retarded
and they moved to Florida . Now they
live in a tin box and have rocks painted green to look like
grass. They ride around on their bicycles and wear name tags
because they don't know who they are anymore.
They go to a building called a wrecked center, but they must
have got it fixed because it is all okay now, they do exercises
there, but they don't do them very well. There is a swimming
pool too, but they all jump up and down in it with hats
on.
At their gate, there is a doll house with a little old man
sitting in it. He watches all day so nobody can escape.
Sometimes they sneak out, and go cruising in their golf carts.
Nobody there cooks, they just eat out. And, they eat the same
thing every night --- early birds.
Some of the people can't get out past the man in the doll house.
The ones who do get out; bring food back to the wrecked center
for pot luck.
My Grandma says that Grandpa worked all his life to earn his
retardment and says I should work hard so I can be retarded
someday too.
When I earn my retardment, I want to be the man in the doll
house. Then I will let people out, so they can visit their
grandchildren.
