It's called repeat traffic. Okay, now you know the reason. Goodbye! You know why so go build your website and enjoy all that repeat traffic.

Huh?

Really? There are people out there who honestly believe they can throw up a website and create ANY traffic, let alone repeat traffic? But doesn't repeat visitors or traffic to your website, mean tons of potential customers who keep on coming back?

Yep!

Seems some have a traffic plan but most just do not work it with any consistency. On the other hand, building their sites either themselves or someone doing it for them, these people are totally frustrated because they have little understanding of how to create a plan that will create traffic.

When you ask them how much traffic they get to their web sites, and where it is coming from, the silence is akin to a blank stare.

In spite of having offered classes on how to read their web stats, they did not attend. Makes you think these people bought into some get rich quick scheme, believing the hype that all you have to do is build a site and the visitors/customers will automatically come.

Then there is the need for value content - information that gives the viewer something to hang onto when they visit your site. They may be simply looking. But if they find something they want or can use, despite NOT buying or joining you, then they might just come back. That's the kind of visitor you want and that is the kind of visitor you need to attract. Repeat visitors are more likely to buy eventually.

It is easy enough for a visitor to check you off as not worth the first time visit. Thus understanding the target market you wish to have visit and convert, becomes a whole different ball game.

Web stats don't lie. If yours are showing only first time visitors then there is something not right with your web site. There is something you need to change or add to keep them on your site viewing more pages, and encourage them to come back. These stats are particularly important if that first time visitor took no action but come in and leave just as fast.

What you need to know or your web site needs to provide:

• Measurement - hits, clicks or conversions?
• varying forms of call to action
• opt in or subscriber forms
• FREE offer advantages
• customer/user surveys
• Product or service offers
• Much more in available options ...

You really need a good marketing plan that will draw the targeted traffic you need that will convert easily, offering you maximum ongoing profit at the end of the day.
