TIME YOU WON?
How do you feel about what you are doing online?
What do you think about what is being put before you?
YOU NEVER HAD TO FOLLOW THAT ROUTE!
I know what you are going through and are seeing out there.
You are not alone!
But the difference between us just might make you think.
Living is tough! The world is not your friend and anything
you get out of it you have to claw and scrape for.
There is a saying, " If it don't kill ya' it will make you
stronger!"
So---Are you discouraged and ready to roll over and
pack it in?
Here is a little something for you. Just take the time
and
watch this.[put your ears on and adjust sound.]
Now-- doesn't that give you something to think about?
And if you it didn't have an effect on you, you might
consider this---
Can you tell me anything that was said wasn't true?
In a time where everything seems wrong, there is always
a light to follow.
It has to do with something called desire and determination.
Give up and you're dead in the water.
Now, the choice is yours.
There is a team of fighters not ready to throw in the towel.
Your uniform is waiting ----

Sometimes life gets in the way |
Ever wake up in the morning and a panic attack
hits as you think, " I'm late for work!" ? The heart immediately
goes into overdrive and the brain focuses on the fear of being
wrong,( what am I gonna tell my boss?).
Then in that split second, reality returns and something inside
says, " Hey, it's your day off!"
Well, now that you're up and awake, what will you do with your day?
A typical syndrome that tells you that it's time to take some rest.
Rest for the body and rest for the mind.
Closing out the world for a day will make it stop, won't it?
The choice to spend some solitary time with quiet and tranquility
leads one to why they planted seeds. That little garden patch is a
place where hands can be busy and healing comes as one goes over all
the troubles and trials life has thrown their way.
It might mean putting on gloves and bending over, or getting down on
your knees. As you perform the necessary duties of pulling weeds
and turning over compacted soil around those tender plants,
the realization comes," There are no voices telling or asking. No
demands or requests, no deadlines, nothing expected...."
A place where there is only you and a gift given in the natural
setting. The air seems different. Not even the weather seems to
matter. It's a place of repose from the daily grind. And, it has
been doing something while you were away in the smog and travail of
today's society.
Two plants begun in the spring, growing side-by-side. Why only a few
weeks ago they were only a couple of inches high and you couldn't
tell one from the other! Look at them now! While you were away, they
grew! And out of no where there are some buddies with them.
Carefully you bend over and move the garden tool stealthily along
around the base of those precious growths breaking up any compacted
soil. That allows for the water to reach the roots quicker and lets
oxygen into the soil.
Your focus is on the desire of your heart as you remember the
original dream of what was intended when that first seed was
planted. Compassion arises with the care being taken to work
carefully around the base of these darlings, for they will bear the
fruit of your labours.
Not far away there is some thing popping up and you have to get down
on your knees to reach over and pluck it out. Closer to the ground
the smell of earth sifts upward. You draw in a deep breath.
There is no recognition of time.
Strange what just happened. All the worries of the world had just
passed away and it was only you and your vision with quiet growth as
your healing tools. Under your breath, there is a prayer of thanks
for the gift of life. And the wonderment of a different side of the
world
as you were caught up in another part of it.
Still is the uncertainty of exactly what will blossom forth, but
hope springs anew because there was an effort made to sustain what
was begun. The vision has returned.
A cool breeze has begun to waft over and the inner clock says it's
time to move on. Perhaps down on the knees is the best place to be
because it seems that the old body has now conformed to that
position!
The groans of standing up again have been overcome and a sense of
satisfaction has entered. As you realize that hours have passed and
a healing has taken place, you are ready to travel on. A day in the
garden. And one wonders if others can see what planting seeds is
really all about!?
As you walk away, you take a minute to look back and see what has
been accomplished. There stands the growth that was begun and
you can almost hear them whisper, "Thank
you for caring."

Chocolate, is there a more
beautiful word? Is there a more wonderful
taste? Join me
and find out! mmm Good! |
It really isn't because you intend to lose or because you
aren't truly smart or lack motivation or any
of the usual reasons the lazy marketer gets tagged.
It's time to begin with. You just don't have all the
time you need as you go through your mail and have to decide
which ones you will even read.
Do you find yourself cleaning out more mail that does not look all that
interesting from reading the subject lines?
Do you find yourself opening the ones that do grab
your attention - even mine :o)) - and here comes the
catch ... you drop them down on your task bar to finish taking
the call the action LATER.
Mail is important. It gives us vital information. BUT MAIL is not the
most important part here. You should NOT be
slave to the mail call.
What you might try doing, is filtering your incoming
mail into specific folders dealing with what is all that
important to your business.
When something grabs your attention that you feel
you must do, then do it right then and there. By
continuing to look for other important mail, all you
end up doing is loading your task bar with items you will never take
action on.
There just isn't time, or the distraction of other mail will cause you
to lose momentum. That means you dismiss all
those mails you were so determined to look
after for another time that just does not come.

There is a big difference between a
splash page and a splash page that works - brings in the desired
result.
1. Know your 'what'.
2. Sell the sizzle NOT the what,
or 'who' will
never take action.
When your 'what' is a product then copy that sells the 'what' cuts
down on desired results.
Let the company page do the selling of the product, that is what the
company does best.
Good splash page copy entices, creates the curiosity needed in order
to encourage the click through.
The 'who' becomes critical to your copy message as well as they are
the market you need to be targeting.
If you do not ask those two critical questions; if you do not answer
them in your layout and copy, then no matter how nice your splash
page looks, it will fail in getting the desired results.
Pitch to the wrong audience then you are going to be sorely
disappointed. A good splash page is a direct form of advertising.
Say as little as possible and use your copy to grab their instant
attention in the few seconds Traffic Exchanges provide as well as
the time a surfer has as they click through their tabbed lists.
Graphics should be used sparingly and they should emphasize the
message. Choose wisely as your splash needs to be fast loading - 3
seconds max for best results.
3. Make sure your call to action is not only there, but it is clear
and concise and removes all possible confusion from the desired
action.
Splash needs to open in a new window.
Track that splash the easy way - upload it to your domain. The stats
from your c-panel cannot be beat.

About Firefox version 3.5
Thanks to the combined efforts of
Wayne Owens, George Culp and yours truly researching the facts to
make this resource a little easier on your frustration factor.
BEFORE you install
FF ver. 3.5 be sure you
FIRST save your
bookmarks as this version tends to omit
bookmarks of its own
choosing. If you are really savvy with your computer it does save
them as a bookmarks.bak file in your profile in applications
folder under firefox and can be selected to "open with" firefox.
For those Vista users wishing to upgrade
to FF 3.5, path to profile
is: user\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\FireFox\Profiles
1 show only 1 profile - weird name.default
Of course, it is always best to backup your bookmarks. There is a
folder inside default profile called bookmarkbackups - extension
is .json; example bookmarks-2009-07-25.json
Users of xp or xp pro go to C:/documentsand
settings/user/applicationsdata/mozilla/firefox/profiles to find
your registered UID which is normally a combination of
characters and numbers aka weirdname.default
Now where you choose to set up your folder for firefox backups is
up to you. It can be in your profiles folder or in My Documents
or in a dozen other places. Just make sure you do backups often
and store them by dates in the same folder each time. Then if
you have to restore your favourites, it becomes an easy job.

In the 16th and 17th centuries, everything had to be
transported by ship and it was also before commercial
fertilizer's invention, so large shipments of manure were
common.
It was shipped dry, because in dry form it weighed a lot less
than when wet, but once water (at sea) hit it, it not only
became heavier, but the process of fermentation began again, of
which a by product is methane gas. As the stuff was stored below
decks in bundles you can see what could (and did) happen.
Methane began to build up below decks and the first time someone
came below at night with a lantern, BOOOOM!
Several ships were destroyed in this manner before it was
determined just what was happening.
After that, the bundles of manure were always stamped with
the term 'Ship High In Transit' on them, which meant for the
sailors to stow it high enough off the lower decks so that any
water that came into the hold would not touch this volatile
cargo and start the production of methane.
Thus evolved the term 'S.H.I.T ' -
(Ship High In Transport) which has come down through the
centuries and is in use to this very day.
You probably did not know the true history of this word.
Neither did I.
