Nigerian-based Scams alive and well and at home.

Everyone by now should be aware of the Nigerian scams that have bilked thousands of vulnerable people of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Since most of us are key smart about African -based offers, it becomes all the more amazing that too many people are missing the headers of their mails NOW showing these scammers using the Nigerian strategies RIGHT here in America.

Gives you the chills. Should make you wary of any offer of cash for doing nothing. Folks, there just ain't no free ride. When it sounds too good to be true, then do not doubt your instincts, it is.

On Tuesday, 11 May, It seems like a major network outage happened at a large data center. Lots of traffic exchanges were offline as well as web sites associated with HostGator.

While it was only a temporary glitch and HostGator was on it right away, it serves as a reminder that the best of plans can be uprooted by Mother nature or technical pauses in service.
