Warnings Abound This Issue
Let's start with EzProfitsPlus.
You have mails, you had a week of solid conferences teaching
what was coming, what you could do and not do. Yet we have a
member who broke every rule and has posted a link to an EPP site
they created
probably in site builder, even going so far as to advertise
training in
using it. Now that is a definite no-no!
If you do not have a robots.txt file on your domain, if you do
not know
how to create one to upload your advertising to, then get to a
support
class any evening and get it done.
Why? It will protect your work from being picked up by Search
Engines. The back office is still under construction so to speak
and is
currently only a guideline to get you ready for Launch.
Anyone advertising EzProfitsPlus before launch without
pre-approved
materials out side of what we offer for upcoming prelaunch faces
suspension and/or removal from EzProfitsPlus. Just do not
promote it.
FTC and Google share the limelight on warnings that you
better heed and read.
Both articles in this issue deal with these warnings.
Network marketing is not pie-in-the-sky do as you like, say as
you like. To make it on line is hard but exciting work that
demands your
co-operation to rules, focus and
having a solid direction.
Trouble will always find the jumper, the one who thinks they
know best, the one not prepared to educate themselves on the
fine arts and
science of being a strong, active affiliate. The ones who does
not think
they have anything to learn but want to beat the crowd with
half-baked knowledge, they are the ones who pay the dearest and
yet did not have to pay at all, if only they took the time to
educate themselves .
Manners shown, respect given, begin with open communications
between all sides. Being in the know makes you a winner. Playing
alone, doing it your way can not only waste your time, it can
earn you a $costly$ reputation that is hard to live down.

The FTC NEW Rulings and You |
The new FTC rulings regarding Social Media Writing
will play havoc with a lot of professional writers and yes, even
you, if you blog, have a web site or are an affiliate successfully
creating income.
Why are they doing this?
Sham promises, offers to make big time dollars without having to do
much of anything other than keep on sending prospects to the
company.
This day has been long coming. Warnings against
hype, sham offers, ponzis, pay it forwards and so
many other bad ideas - even membership sites.
So how does this affect you as an affiliate of one of these
companies?
Because one of the issues is your testimonial that you are making
dollars off of this offer.
While I have never believed in telling anyone what I make off a
program, and have reminded any person I teach, that what I make or
you make is not the norm but the results of our individual work
ethic. Thus any dollar amount can irrationally affect the attitude
of a prospect to join with false hopes rather than under false
pretence.
Your fear of losing a prospect thus encouraging their joining
because of high income potential, has given the FTC the edge of
getting into online marketing.
Social Media writers FTC rules:
The Federal Trade Commission has announced that starting December 1,
2009 all people who write web content (web sites, blogs,
FaceBook,
twitter, etc.) must disclose any compensation they received
(product, service, money, or any other form of compensation).
If you receive a free product or service from a company and you
write a review of that product or service, you must disclose that
your review is a paid endorsement. In the past, content that
featured a consumer conveying their experience with a product or
service was required to include the disclaimer "results not
typical".
If you purchase a product with your own money and write a review for
which you do not get paid, no disclosure is necessary. What about a
description of a product or service for which you are an affiliate?
You don't actually get paid up front for writing a review or
description of an affiliate product or service. You don't get paid
until after a sign-up or purchase. However, I would still include a
disclosure like "I am a ___________ affiliate".

Don't blow the FTC rulings off as only affecting testimonials and
paid advertising. It far more reaching that that concept.

Suspensions and Bans re AWA Unwarranted ?

Since way back in July, Google has
been issuing a severe 'swat' to
Google Adwords Accounts (AWA) for what has been referred to as
'poor landing pages.' that do not lend value in the PPC arena.
Some pretty hefty accounts have been suspended which certainly
makes for some pretty irate users, some with a four to seven year
history with AWA.
While the situation continues to rage between confused advertisers who
have no clue why their accounts have been suspended right up to
banned for life sentences, the following does clarify some reasons, even
if they are Google's and apparently hidden to users.
Google Mass Bans & Warns AdWords Advertisers, But Why?
"Certain kinds of websites (ref1) are not
allowed per our policies because the user experience is of low quality
or we consistently receive negative feedback from our users about these
kinds of pages. These sites include:
* Data collection sites that offer the false promise of free items,
etc., in order to collect private information.
* Arbitrage sites that are designed for the purpose of showing ads
* Affiliates who provide limited value by being a bridge page with the
intent of solely driving traffic to another site or who are framing an
affiliate site."
One of the stranger relationships that is coming to the fore in all of
this, is affiliates who buy up domains previously owned by Google Awards
Advertisers. Not smart! Seems the only fool in
Google's eyes is the smuck who gets talked into buying these great
domain deals.

On line Business becomes hard when your clients
expect you to reduce your prices.
A quote worthy of your time is worth sticking to,
or is it?
When a customer requests a roll back in a quote,
what can you do?
A good quote includes all the values you provide.
If a customer is determined to have you roll back
that quote, then roll back the values provided.
Time is money. Value given is cost price fixed.
By stating what your quote includes, then you have points of
value to discuss in terms of any price
change to values provided.
Rather than a decision between a yes or no
singular quote, why not offer multiple
choices? That way your customer can define what they can do and
what they need you to do.
